Humidify your rooms naturally in winter
A humidifier is a device that moist the air of your room by launching tiny droplets of water, water vapour or steam.
During winter as temperature drops considerably, we tend to turn on electric heaters and other room heating appliances to keep our room warm. But using electric heaters affect us financially and our health as well.
Room heaters dry the air inside our home and the dry air in our homes makes us vulnerable to various health related problems like sore throat, dry cough, flu and allergies.
So, to maintain moisture levels of air in our homes we should use humidifiers. Yet there is abundance of costly humidifiers in market, we would suggest to try some homemade humidifiers.
Plants can moisturize air in our homes through a process of transpiration. So place some house plants like Money plant, Aloe vera, Tulsi, Areca palm etc. in your house to naturally humidify your dry house in winter.
2. Fish Tank
An open fish tank is another good method to keep your homes humid naturally.
3. Sponge Humidifiers
Take a large washing sponge and a plastic bag. Punch in some small holes in plastic bag with scissors or a screwdriver. Soak the sponge in warm water. Squeeze it to remove excess water. Make sure the sponge is not dripping. Place the wet sponge in the punctured plastic bag and place it in your room. It will humidify your room naturally.
