Lord Shri Krishna is Supreme- Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta !

Lord Shri Hari Vishnu – Shri Krishna is Supreme

In Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta, in several Shlokas Lord Shri krishna has said that he is the supreme power, he is dwelling in every living being or non- living things in this universe. He himself in Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta has revealed that he is the supreme power- the God and presents explanation of all transcendental names, forms and qualities of himself- the Supreme God, Shri Krishna.

I am here presenting some shlokas of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta with their explanation, where Lord Shri Krishna has revealed himself as the Supreme God.

In the chapter 8 Shloka 1, Arjun asked the lord: What is the ultimate Truth? What are the terms Brahman, Adhyatma, Karma, Adibutam and Adhidaivam?

In chapter 8 Shloka 2, Arjun asked Shri Krishna, who is Adhiyoga and how does he dwell in one’s body.

Now Sri Krishna replied and revealed that he is the supreme God in following verses:

In Chapter 8 Verse 4, Lord Krishna said that Adhibhutam represents all perishable or temporary objects in this universe.

And the universal soul is Adhidaivam – Brahma.

O Arjun, I the Vasudev Krishna, am the Adhiyga here in this body and form.

I am the omnipresent transcendental power, Lord of All.

In Shloka 5 of chapter 8, Lord Krishna said one who thinks only of me at the time of his death, undoubtedly will come to me.

Further, In Chapter 11, Lord Krishna revealed that what ever forms of God human worship are his forms.

In Shloka 5 of Chapter 11, Lord Krishna said :

Behold O Dear Arjuna, as I reveal to you hundreds and even thousands of my various, divine, transcendental forms of several colours and shapes.

In Shloka 6 of Chapter 11, Lord Krishna said: Behold Arjun, as I disclose to you my various forms. The gods of sun, fire and light; the gods of storm, and lightning and the two beautiful charioteers of Heaven. Behold O Relative of Bharata, vision and sights never before seen by the naked human eyes!

And most important revelation comes in Shloka 7 of Chapter 11, Lord Krishna said: Arjuna, see before you now, the whole universe as it both moving and at rest, see whatever you desire. See it all in me because I am in everything and everything is in Me.

Shloka 12 of Chapter 12 explains: The divine radiance and beautiful light that was being emitted by the glorious vision of Lord Krishna was so great that it could only be matched by the light of one thousand suns arising in the sky at once.

In shloka 13 of Chapter 11 it is revealed that Arjun saw the whole universe in its several dimensions and varieties all gathered together in the Supreme Lord of Lords- Shri Krishna.

In shloka 8 of Chapter 9 Lord Krishna said: I create all beings again and again according to their karma (performed actions in their past life) out of My Maya (spiritually powerful nature).

In Shloka 12 of Chapter 15 Lord Krishna said : the beautiful and overwhelming light that comes from the sun and illuminates the whole universe, the soft and splendorous light that is emitted by the moon, and the radiant glow of a fire, all come from within Me and exist because of me alone.

Thus, Lord Krishna is the supreme lord, omnipresent, ultimate Truth, the supreme creator and controller of the universe, all living and non- living beings.
